Today we joined forces with Year 6 for our carol service to parents and Mrs Stott. The children came in lovely festive jumpers and had huge smiles throughout!
A massive thank you goes out to all the parents and carers who showed up (and joined in with the singing). The children loved having you all there. I’m sure I even saw Luca and Isabelle’s adults singing without looking at the words!
This week we thought about what we had learned about different materials and then designed and made rescue boats to help people escape from the great fire of London! The children used their learning partners to talk about what materials they could use and why. We then made the boats and tested to see if they floated in some water outside!
Today we have been learning about what bullying is and what we can do if we encounter it. We discussed the vocabulary “bully”, “victim” and “bystander”. We then made posters in our table teams and made up a chant for our whole school picket to end the day!
